'This is a picture story book with a fully illustrated short story for kids. This picture story is told in simple words and is basically a retelling of a popular fable from Aesop - 'The lion and the mouse'. This moral story for kids will appeal to preschool, kindergarten and slightly older kids. This is an ancient story about friendship - of how the mouse repaid a favour done by the lion. The pictures are bright and attractive. This story will illustrate to children the importance of friendship and of helping others. Although the lion was mighty and much bigger than the tiny mouse, it still accepted the mouse's offer of friendship and let it go without harming it. And in turn when the lion was in trouble, the little mouse was able to help. Kids will enjoy this small story.
There are also two interesting activities for kids - There is a memory activity which will test children's powers of observation and memory. (Children have to look at a picture and then remember various details in the picture.) There is an 'odd one out' activity where children have to look at a set of pictures and identify the odd one out.

This book has a great moral to the story as you should realize that helping others is also helping you in return. You never know when you may need help. I also like the learning activities at the end of the story.
Really simple story great for younger kids interested in reading. Plus, there are great games that get the kids thinking and talking about words at the end! It is one of my 4 year old daughter's favorites!
great book, grand daughter loves its, would recommend to family and friends, quick deilivery/download, price is great. just wish there was more ebooks for small children learning to read.
